Through my sculptural work, I am interested in exploring queer culture I reference this through the materials I utilise. Materials such as jesmonite, plaster and steel have become intengral to the work as they have all the qualities which are significantly realted to the context of my practice, ideas of industry, laabour and masculinity can be associated to all these materials, as well as evoking a slightly sinister sense of touch.

Iconography of a performative nature is used by physical actions associated to queer and erotic spaces which reiterates this sense of a movement , abstracted sections being strapped up and strapped together; elelmnts slumping and learning and then being pushed and pulled though walls. It is these elemnts which change the work from something static to something with movement, weight and dependency.
